The original SailFish was introduced in 1980. The 272 is the product of many years of fine tuning. The beam is wide for a boat this size. There is more useable cockpit space then most boats her size also. The cabin consists of a V-berth forward. There is storage space below. The head has a privacy door and a shower. The galley is aft port size. She includes shelf and drawer storage. The helm is evevated several inches to provide better visability and below deck accommodations. The cabin hatch is to port to create a wider helm console. An integral bracket platform adds to her appearance and over all utility. Prominent features include a well arranged cockpit, deep walk around decks, live well, and fish boxes. A now classic design, the SailFish is built on Grady White's "sea-V" hull with more transom deadrise and measurably softer ride.
